After attending a new meeting of the Local Employment Bureau and once known the intention of the local government to create ten technical work tables, one for each strategic line included in the Employment Plan, the spokesman for Citizens in Cartagena, Manuel Padín , has proposed the creation of a technical table linked to the blue economy, "an integrating concept that includes all the economic activity associated with the seas, ports and coastal areas."
The proposal of Cs has been well received by the members of the table and would merge lines 4 and 7 that seek to strengthen the aquaculture sector and the nautical / fishing sector respectively and include other sectors such as marine renewable energy, blue gastronomy , maritime transport, coastal and cruise tourism, marine biotechnology, naval repairs, integrated maritime surveillance or marine mineral resources among others.
Orange training recalls that it tried to incorporate this strategic integrating element into the Employment Plan without luck, "if we finally achieve the constitution of that technical table we are satisfied", says Manuel Padín who says that this space should be integrated by public agents and private of recognized prestige, experts, entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, associations and collectives, public organizations such as the Port Authority, the UPCT, the CEEIC and technical staff of the City Council ".
A plan that arrived late and walks slowly
