The land of the City of Justice of Cartagena, which will be in the old Army Subsistence Factory, is about 6 million euros, according to a pre-assessment, said the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, who He also said that the City Council of Cartagena and the Government of Spain will sign an action protocol for the purchase and sale of the site located on Avenida Reina Victoria in March.
Castejón, has highlighted the willingness of the Ministry of Defense to transfer the land to the City Council.
In the agreement that is going to be signed between both administrations, the first mayor affirms that "everything will be very clear: the deadlines, payment schedule, budget ..."
The mayor said that "we are at a very important moment, in which we will continue taking steps for Cartagena to have a City of Justice."
On the cost of the site, the mayor of Cartagena affirms that the pre-charged cost is 6 million euros.
However, Ana Belén Castejón says that they will negotiate the amount and deadlines with the Ministry of Defense, since Defensa owes a pending amount to the consistory, which stands at around one million euros.
