The 97 new students of the General Air Academy (AGA) of the next course have been received on Wednesday, February 13, by the Councilor for Tourism and Culture, David Martinez, in the Palace Hall.
The reception of the cadets with three teachers took place in the hall at 11 o'clock in the morning, in which the councilman has welcomed them to the city as is tradition every year and has given them a book with the History of the city of Cartagena for the enjoyment of the new students, coming from all the Spanish territory.
For his part, the Colonel Director of the AGA, Miguel Ivorra Ruiz has delivered the councilman also as a gift to the City Council a picture with an image of the Eagle Patrol flying over the facilities of the academy, as well as a commemorative plaque.
After the welcome, they have all posed for a group photo on the façade of the Palace and, afterwards, they have been able to visit the Forum Quarter and the Roman Museum and Theater by groups, an activity organized in collaboration with the Port of Cultures.
