The celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the IES Isaac Peral continue, this time with the visit of Tomás Albaladejo Mayordomo, a former student of the Institute and currently professor of Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature at the Autonomous University of Madrid.
It will be on Friday, February 15, at the IES Isaac Peral Acting Hall at 11 am and will talk about the literature on the construction of Europe.
Tomás Albaladejo Mayordomo holds a degree in Romance Philology from the University of Murcia and a doctorate in Modern Literature from the University of Bologna.
He studied at the University of Bielefeld (Germany).
He was an assistant professor at the University of Málaga and at the University of Murcia, holder of General Grammar and Literary Criticism at the University of Alicante and Professor of Theory of Literature at the University of Valladolid.
He is currently Professor of Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature at the Autonomous University of Madrid.
Investigates the areas of literary language theory, theory and analysis of the narrative text and the poetic text, rhetoric, communication, translation theory, journalistic text, political discourse and website analysis, with special attention to the transdiscursive analysis of literature and other types of discourse.
On March 15, 2007, Dr. Tomás Albaladejo sponsored José Saramago, Nobel Prize for Literature 1998, at the endowment of the Doctorate Honoris Causa conferred by the Autonomous University of Madrid.
On October 16, 2008, the National University of San Marcos, in Lima, Peru, agreed to award Tomás Albaladejo the distinction of Honorary Professor.
