On Thursday, February 14, the women from the west of Cartagena will make a raffle to deliver a solidarity quilt made by them and whose funds will go to the Recaida Project or Mathematics against childhood leukemia, on the occasion of the International Day of the fight against Child cancer.
The draw will take place at 2:30 p.m. at the social premises of Perín.
In addition, the Ibizan writer, Romi Roca, will present her book 'Corazones puros siempre ganar I'.
A book, between the novel and self-help, about growth from heartbreak.
On November 17, around two hundred women from the western zone of Cartagena (San José Obrero, Las Lomas de La Vaguada, Tallante, Cuesta Blanca, San Isidro, Los Puertos de Santa Bárbara, El Rincón de Sumiedo, El Portús, Galifa, Perín and Canteras) held in the social premises of Canteras, the II Meeting of Rural Women.
The meeting, in which the City Council of Cartagena, through the Department of Equality, had the presence of the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and the Councilor for Equality, David Martinez.
On this day of coexistence was carried out the development of a solidarity quilt for the benefit of the association against childhood cancer 'Pablo Ugarte'.
