- The mayor of Citizens, Ana Rama, has recriminated that after the constitution in May 2018 of the municipal board against bullying, "has not been convened a single working meeting, probably because it is a measure driven by Cs and return to confuse political strategy with public responsibility "
Citizens achieved in the plenary session of October 2018 that the City Council increase the number of training workshops on cybersecurity in municipal facilities throughout the year, taught by experts.
The plenary agreement promoted by the orange training included the development of family training programs in ICTs based on initiatives such as Live a Secure Internet of OCU and Google, editing guides and opening consulting services and carrying out information dissemination campaigns through of the communication channels of the City Council.
On the other hand, and thanks to that motion defended by the orange mayor, Ana Rama, Cartagena was to host on February 7 the International Day of Secure Internet, with various actions and activities.
This day is held at the request of the European Commission and in collaboration with INSAFE, a European network through a secure internet, "we have no record of any action to be carried out linked to that day," says Rama.
"From Ciudadanos we consider very important the implementation of educational and training measures for children, parents and educators in security matters. The Internet is a free, open and participatory platform, but a reckless use of it can become a nightmare, so not we understand the attitude of this Government, the agreements are to fulfill them, but some continue to confuse the political strategy with public responsibility. "
On the other hand, the mayor also recalls that Ciudadanos has been the driving force behind the constitution of the school bullying board in May 2018, "and since then, it has not been called once, probably because it is a measure promoted by Cs ", denounces Rama who recalls that" from our Municipal Group we requested that she be invited to the next session of the Miralmonte School board to explain her experience in the development of the KiVa antiacoso program (the only educational center that applies it in the Region) of Murcia) inspired by studies carried out at the University of Turku in Finland 90% of all general education schools in that country are registered KiVa schools.
