Encourage entrepreneurship among women and support their needs by offering them the right tools to develop their projects.
That is the goal of the third edition of GIRA Women, a route to entrepreneurship and employability that takes place around the world and that this week has arrived in Cartagena from the Coca Cola Foundation, the Local Development Agency and Employment of Cartagena and the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia.
Seventeen women have participated for two days (4 and 5 February) in these workshops that have been developed in the Business Incubator for Women of the Department of Equality of the City of Cartagena.
This training will be completed with further on-line training and the selection of the 10 most innovative national projects with feasibility of launching.
The Councilor of the Area of ​​Economic Strategy, Carmen Martín del Amor, and the Manager of the ADLE, Fulgencio Luis Cerón Mora, encouraged the entrepreneurs to persevere with enthusiasm, encouragement and passion for their projects.
Likewise, they were offered the support of the ADLE to continue their entrepreneurial training in one of the programs that are active at this time to favor and support business projects.
The Area of ​​Entrepreneurship and Local Development of the ADLE offers a Business Orientation service, in which the technicians of this area -Rosa Sala Hernández and Miguel Ángel Gutiérrez Moya-, perform an individualized attention of each entrepreneur, through personal accompaniment, the process of realization of the entrepreneurial idea and the business plan, reporting on those issues and aspects that may be of interest.
With the objective of promoting economic development in the municipality of Cartagena, ADLE has the Entrepreneur Generation program, which has two lines of work:
Encourage the creation of companies, with a mixed itinerary of training and advice in business management and a very practical methodology, which facilitates an adequate start-up of business projects.
This program has open the registration period until next February 11.
