The mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, and the councilors of Municipal Services, Juan Pedro Torralba, and Tourism, David Martínez Noguera, have received the Leisure, Culture and Tourism Association of La Manga.

The first mayor has shown interest in deseasonalizing tourism in this area.

From the city council of Cartagena, work is being done to carry out more sports and cultural activities and, in this way, the influx of tourism to La Manga is encouraged throughout the year, and not only during the summer.
