The refinery joins the project of the European Commission, promoted by FuelsEurope, and opens its facilities to publicize the work being done in the industrial complex.
The open days, which will be held on February 22 and March 29, will bring the participants closer to the role played by the sector in their lives and in the economy.
Repsol participates in the Open Door Days of European Industry promoted by the European Commission, opening the doors of the Cartagena refinery visit center.
The initiative aims to provide the public in general, and especially young people, the opportunity to visit industrial facilities in Europe and understand the important role that the sector plays in their lives and in the economy.
In Cartagena, the days of opening to the public will be held on February 22 and March 29 in the center of visits to the industrial complex of Repsol.
The participants will have the opportunity to approach the work that the refinery does and to know its role in society and as an economic engine.
The activity will also serve to inform participants of the 2050 vision of the European refining industry, developed by FuelsEurope, to contribute to the goal of continuing to reduce their CO2 emissions and offering low carbon fuels and other products that society needs to.
Visitor Center of Repsol Cartagena
The Repsol visitor center in Cartagena offers a global vision of the work done in the industrial complex, as well as the different products obtained from petroleum products, emphasizing the commitment to the environment.
Visitors have the possibility to interact with the exhibition during the entire visit even with their smartphone.
