The company that owns the new four-star hotel that will open in Los Urrutias in the coming months, Neilson Holidays, already has the necessary administrative concession for the nautical facilities with which it will complete its sports and leisure offer.
The mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, and Juan Ramón López, on behalf of the merchant Neilson Holidays, signed this morning the administrative concession of public domain for plot EJ 18.3 of the Partial Plan Perla de Levante, of 4,193.12 square meters, for nautical sports facilities.
The concession lasts 20 years and will entail an annual fee that in 2019 reaches 21,000 euros.
With this signature, the entire administrative process ends on behalf of the City of Cartagena.
The hotel company is ready to open these facilities to the public next summer, which will mean a weekly charter flight of English citizens who will arrive in Los Urrutias to enjoy our Mar Menor.
The objective of the company is to use the plot to collect canoes and all the tools necessary to turn this hotel center into a reference for nautical sports in the Mar Menor area, which will decisively help to deseasonalise tourism in the area, since English tourists are going to visit our town throughout the year and not only in the summer months.
