The State Meteorological Agency has issued an orange level warning for coastal phenomena on the coast of Cartagena and Mazarrón.
According to the AEMET, it is expected to last from 6 am to 3 pm on Friday, February 1.
The probability is between 40 and 70 percent, according to this official body.
The State Meteorological Agency estimates that the wind will blow from the southwest with force 8, which is equivalent to an interval between 62 and 74 kilometers per hour.
The waves could reach up to 4 meters in height.
Firefighters and Civil Protection advised to avoid the embankments of the ports during the anticipated time of alert, as well as the headlights and breakwaters.
They also advise not to be placed under trees or walls, as well as to close doors and windows of buildings that give to the exterior and to assure the elements of the façade, such as pots or blinds.
