Cartagena, Thursday, January 31st.
Citizens has managed to get the Plenary Assembly to demand that the Cartagena City Council review the roads in the center of Cartagena and the neighborhoods that do not have adequate horizontal and vertical signage and commit to their placement by reserving a sufficient amount in the next municipal budgets.
The motion has been approved unanimously.
The local spokesman of the orange training, Manuel Padín, has informed during his shift that his group has collected the demands of the Road Training faculty of the Alameda Driving School in the Paseo Alfonso XIII, which recently issued an informative note in which they collected more of ten dangerous crossings where priority had not been signaled;
among others, the one located between the streets Francisco Salzillo and Carmen Conde, Valle Inclán with Carmen Conde, Antonio Machado with prolongation of Angel Bruna, Alfonso X the Wise with Alameda de San Antón, Menorca with Greece in the neighborhood of San Ginés, Féliz Martí with Jorge Juan, Eduardo Marquina with Greece in San Ginés, Ricardo Codorniú Starico with Almirante Baldasano and Travesía Mahón with Ciudadela Street, and the incorporation lanes to Paseo Alfonso XIII from the Plaza de Alicante.
Manuel Padín explained that road safety in the municipality, "is one of our workhorses throughout the legislature and so much so that we continue to fight for the design and implementation of a comprehensive road safety plan that resolves progressively the multiple and varied needs that we have, although it is already clear to us that we will have to do it from the Government as of May 2019 ".
For Manuel Padín.
"Since 2015, neither MC nor PSOE have been able to consistently improve road conditions in our city, Citizens has recalled that, pending the start of that plan, one of its conditions to support the budgets of 2019 will be to act to increase the security in the environments of the educational centers of the municipality, "it is a historic claim of thousands of fathers and mothers and we will give due answer even though the PSOE does not even recognize that there is any problem."
