The Marist schools and Virgen del Carmen have won the municipal phase of 'Playing Athletics', a program organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena in collaboration with the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia.
Both centers will represent Cartagena in the regional final of the competition.
The appointment will be in Alcantarilla on February 13.
More than 300 athletes have participated in the Sports Palace of Cartagena in the municipal phase of "Playing Athletics" in juvenile category.
This competition is part of the Program of Physical Activity and Sport in School Age organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena in collaboration with the General Directorate of Sports of the Region of Murcia.
On this occasion, more than 30 schools in the municipality participated, with both male and female teams.
This is an increase compared to those who participated in the last edition.
During the day, have been disputed tests of: 10x10 meters race, soft javelin throw, jumps to feet together from standstill, medical ball throw, obstacle side jump, 5x1 relay and grand prix.
