Students of Agronomists of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) will be able to do a double master's degree in Germany.
The director of the ETSIA (Higher Technical School of Agricultural Engineering), Arantxa Aznar, and the Deputy Director of International Relations, Julia Weiss, visited the University of Rhein-Waal, in Kleve, Germany, to establish the necessary criteria for implementation of a double degree for the students of the Master in Agricultural Engineering and the German postgraduate Science in Bioresources.
Students must complete one year in Cartagena and one year in Kleve to obtain a double master's degree.
The University of Rhein-Waal (Kleve) is a young university with an endowment of media and laboratories of last generation where the students will be able to complement their formation so much in Agronomy as in Technology of foods, at the same time that they will be able to perfect the English language, language in which this master's degree is taught in Germany.
"The students of the School of Agronomists of the UPCT who study the double master's degree will be able to carry out their internships in a company as well as the master's degree project in Germany, which will allow them to have greater job opportunities in the European market", details Arantxa Aznar
The creation of double degrees, in addition to the Erasmus exchange program and exchange programs with Ibero-America, are part of UPCT's current internationalization plan.
The double degrees, in addition to increasing the attractiveness of the degrees, amplify the professional opportunities of the students.
The Polytechnic has double degree agreements, or similar ones, with the Napier University of Edinburgh, the University of Stuttgart, the University of the Algarve and the University of the Aegean.
