Alumbres welcomed this Sunday the 2nd edition of the Faster BKM Trofeo Repsol Cup, mountain bike race organized by the Sports Club Alumbres Sport with the collaboration of the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena, the General Sports Directorate of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and Repsol.
On an almost spring morning, world master champion Ismael Sánchez Adán, of the 33 Bike team and who has recently been a father for the third time, achieved victory after stopping the clock in 1 hour, 30 minutes and 17 seconds.
The second place was for Daniel Romero, of the Lemon Team, with 1h.35: 57, while the third place was for Francisco Yedra, also of 33 Bike, with 1h.36: 16.
Patricia Hernández, from Bicihuerta de Torreagüera, was the best female, beating María Hernández, from Ciclos Currá de Cartagena, and Isabel Casanueva, from 100% All Sport Euromaster.
The Councilor for Sports of Cartagena, Manuel Mora, the Minister of Transparency of the Region of Murcia, Noelia Arroyo, the General Director of Sports of the Autonomous Community, Alonso Gómez López, and the mayor of the municipal corporation, Diego Ortega, were in an appointment that brought together about 200 participants.
