The Belones will offer visitors, from 1 to 10 February, comforting spoon dishes, typical of winter, on the occasion of the '5th edition of the Grandmother and Asian Stew Route'.
In total, 7 restaurants participate in this gastronomic event, organized by the Department of Commerce of the City of Cartagena and the Association of Merchants of Los Belones, ACOBE.
"A well-established and well-received route not only for the citizens but also for the merchants", explained the Councilor for Commerce, María del Carmen Martín, this morning, January 28, in the presentation of this recreational-gastronomic activity.
The 'Grandma and Asian Stew Route' offers rations at economical prices, stew with drink included (at 2.50 euros) and Asians (at 1.50 euros).
"Los Belones is known for its gastronomic quality, with a population of 3,000 inhabitants, we have 25 catering establishments, which reinforces us along with normal businesses, it is a clear example of economic reinforcement, where the union of all makes us come and participate people from other places in the Region, "said Jerónimo Roca, member of the Los Belones Neighborhood Association.
In addition, people who come to taste, at least three of the tapas and two of the coffees, may participate in the contest vote to choose the best of these stews and Asians.
For this they will have to take the stamps of the establishments visited to the polls located in La Terraza del Sol and Brasera Garnacha.
Among all valid votes will be a public drawing of the gift of a check of 200 euros to spend in the associated establishments.
"Invite all citizens of Cartagena to come and meet us and spend some time with us," concluded Juan Antonio Navarro, vice president of the Los Belones Neighborhood Association.
