The mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, wanted to take advantage of the promotional showcase that FITUR assumes to announce that Portugal will be the guest country in the 25th edition of La Mar de Músicas and to publicize great tourist landmarks of our municipality as the Drag Queen gala Carnival, hiking routes, diving areas, Holy Week, Carthaginians and Romans and our cuisine.
The councilors of the government team, Manuel Mora, David Martínez and Juan Pedro Torralba, also attended the fair.
MY TREASURE IS THE MUSIC
The mayor announced in Fitur that Portugal will be the guest country at the La Mar de Músicas festival, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary.
In addition, the poster has also been presented, made by the Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos.
"This is the most international artist in Portugal.
Undoubtedly, the poster is at the height of the festival.
In him a photograph of one of his sculptures has been shaped where a piano and its bench are upholstered with crochet covers.

The Carnival of Cartagena is also playing a leading role in Fitur.
The city council has wanted to promote the Drag Queen gala, one of the most successful activities of the Carnival program and which this year celebrates its fourth edition.
The color and joy have flooded the stand to show that the Carnival of Cartagena deserves to be declared of National Tourist Interest.
During the presentation, the winner of the Drag Queen gala last year, 'Priscilla Osiris', has delighted the audience with his performance.
Carthaginians and Romans could not miss this appointment either.
During the presentation in TURESPAÑA the representation of a battle was carried out.
In addition, the members of troops and legions will remain in Fitur to continue promoting the festivities.
MY TREASURE IS NATURE
The City Council also wanted to give this year special relevance in Fitur to sports and nature tourism.
Under the motto 'My treasure is nature', the benefits of the good climate of the municipality have been explained, as well as the uniqueness and beauty of the two marine reserves of Cabo de Palos-Hormigas Islands and Cabo Tiñoso, and also of the routes walkers.
During the presentation, a video has been projected in which it has been possible to see the multitude of possibilities that the environment of our municipality offers, thanks not only to the Department of Sports, but also to the Center of Excursionists of Cartagena.
EASTER
Easter Cartagena has also had special prominence in Fitur and has been presented along with those of Lorca and Murcia, the only three that are of International Tourist Interest in the Region.
The poster of this edition has been announced at the Fair, where the importance of the National Saetas Contest and the Cofrade Route has also been highlighted.
