On the occasion of the new complaints and the mobilizations of the parents of the San Cristóbal school in El Bohío due to the lack of classrooms, the existence of barracks, or the poor air conditioning of the center, the spokesperson for Citizens in Cartagena, Manuel Padín, recalled that his Group presented a motion in the Plenary of December 2017 to seek the support of all the political formations that constitute the municipal Corporation to urge the regional government to make an investment in this educational center. "The motion of Citizens was rejected by PP, PSOE, Podemos and MC, "if we do not even have the support of the municipal groups, badly we are going".
The orange training also recalled that in the month of June 2017, presented another motion to urge the Governing Council of the Region of Murcia to comply with the school infrastructure maps provided in the municipality of Cartagena, "there are also historical demands unresolved and exceeding the decade in La Aljorra, San Isidoro (Los Dolores), Hesperides, Virgen del Carmen, San Florentina, in the institutes Juan Sebastian Elcano, Mediterranean, Isaac Peral, or in the Integrated Center for Professional Training in Hospitality and Tourism, among others.

As for the barracks, the spokesman for Citizens has indicated that its use "is generating a lot of concern to hundreds of thousands of parents due to the lack of infrastructure and minimum conditions of health and conditioning".
For Manuel Padín, "the problem itself is not limited to the use of barracks, which can be designed to meet all the requirements set by the Technical Building Code and have a useful life well in excess of ten years, the problem arises when temporary structures are used whose construction and assembly conditions are designed as if they were fixed structures and not temporary and reach six years as in El Bohío, when there is no air conditioning with heat pump, insulating panels, double deck or floors concreted ".
Regarding the climate control plan promoted by Citizens but to be executed by the regional government, the Citizens spokesperson believes that "there is a clear inequality of treatment to distribute the actions, in Cartagena only two actions have been taken when it is assumed that they have invested and 11 million euros in the Region.
