Last night, the secretary general of MC Cartagena and spokesman for the Cartagena training in the Consistory, José López, and the councilors, Isabel García and Ricardo Segado, held a working meeting with neighborhood representatives of Canteras, La Vaguada and Los Popos.
The appointment took place in the social premises of Canteras.
José López took the floor to remember the vocation of public service that should guide the actions of politicians.

In an enriching debate, residents and MC representatives converged on the most priority needs for this area of ​​the municipality, especially in infrastructure.
At this point came to light some of the most insistent claims of MC during the current term, ignored by the regional government.
We talked about improvements in security with the entrance roundabout to Galifa / Portús and access to the San José Obrero neighborhood.
Following this action, long demanded over time, the positive effects of the location of the future City of Justice in the Hospital de Marina were deepened, arguing reasons of breadth and operability, together with the fact of the ease to start the works immediately.
This installation would also become a revulsive for the future growth of the western area of ​​the municipality, forcing the administrations to face this and other demands in terms of infrastructure and services.
However, this option seems to fade because of the socialist window dressing that insists on selling the Factoría project without a budget, without a document and without deadlines, whose future is uncertain and it seems that it will be extinguished in May.
Local thanks to the economic management and investments in Sports
Before this debate, the turn of interventions was initiated by Isabel García, who made a brief review of some of the most significant achievements of her training during her participation in the local government before the breach of the governance pact by the Mayor's Office. PSOE.
The mayor reported the economic rescue that the management of MC led to the global debt of the City Council (milestone recognized yesterday by the neighbors), as well as the actions carried out in order to optimize public resources, encourage participation, care for neighborhoods and councils or move towards a sustainable municipality that respects the environment.
His partner Ricardo Segado, meanwhile, explained the management that was carried out in sports, especially in relation to the installation of artificial turf (finally paid by the City Council during the Mayor's Office of MC, an expense that in the first instance, during the Government of the PP, they had to face the partners, fathers and mothers of the club).
Finally, future challenges were addressed to address from next May, in which we will live a new political landscape in the City of Cartagena.
