The councilors of Sports and Celebrations, Manolo Mora and Juan Pedro Torralba, respectively, accompanied on the morning of Sunday the neighbors of San Antón in the last day of their popular festivities, which has had a biker concentration.
The event was organized by the Club 'K1 by its Lao' and by the Neighborhood Association of the neighborhood, in collaboration with the City Council.
After more than two weeks of celebrations, the neighborhood of San Antón put an end to its popular festivities this past Sunday, January 20, with a biker gathering attended by the Councilman of Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba, and the Councilor for Sports, Manuel Blackberry..
The last day of the festivities began at 9 o'clock in the morning at Plaza Juana la Loca with the invitation to buns and chocolate as well as several exhibitions, games, raffles and a giant paella.
The day was accompanied by live music with the bands 'Filiu' and 'Loco Bill' and there was a motera route starting at 11 am with police escort.
All this organized by the Association of Residents of San Antón, Moto Club "K-1" and Paso de los Elefantes in collaboration with the City of Cartagena.
In the Plaza de la Iglesia there were also games, a gymcana and the contest 'Canta San Antón', while, the final touch to the parties was the concert of the group 'Al Arpa y Cantando' at the Casino de San Antón with Alberto Masclans to the harp and voices of Héctor Raúl Navarrete and Pilar Galó, and, finally, the final strike.
