Yesterday, the social premises of Santa Ana hosted a working meeting between the general secretary of MC Cartagena and municipal spokesman, José López, the councilors of the Cartagenerista formation, María José Soler and Isabel García, with neighbors, associations and collectives of Santa Ana .
In the first place, María José Soler made a brief review of the work of MC in the municipal government, which allowed a change of direction in Cartagena with the best economic results in the history of the City Council.
For his part, José López began explaining to the attendees some of the actions carried out by MC in the Santa Ana area. Thus, "with the first Santa Ana Participatory Budgets the construction of the path was achieved - bike lane to the Polygon, with an approximate investment of 75,000 euros ".
In addition, he added that "we rescued a plot of 1,205 m2, belonging to the municipal heritage, to build a new medical office for which we developed the project, for implementation in 2018 and 2019".
On this point, Lopez has reported that "after our departure from the Government, we included the money in the municipal budget, via amendment, but the PSOE has refused to execute the work, despite the fact that Plenary after Plenary we have insisted on the need to tender of the work ".
Despite this, the Cartagena spokesman has announced that "we will continue to demand and work so that the new Santa Ana office becomes a reality".
The neighbors thanked MC that it is the only party that has been interested in the problem of Santa Ana, in addition to positively assess the efforts made to get the ground of the future medical office.
Finally, they cited some of the needs of the environment in terms of infrastructure, maintenance of green areas or improvements in the connection with the rest of the municipality through urban transport.
