Firefighters of the Service of Fire and Rescue Extinction (SEIS) of the City of Cartagena rescued last night the lifeless body of a 56-year-old man who died in a traffic accident on the ring road of the RM-332, at the height of Los Puertos of Santa Bárbara.
The municipal employees had to take advantage of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment to free the corpse, trapped in tourism.
The accident was recorded around half past nine at night, when the car that drove, a BMW, went off the road and fell down an embankment, being overturned on one side.
The wounds produced by the hardness of the impact were of such severity that nothing could be done by the medical services or the 061 ambulance, nor by the firefighters who came quickly to the site, through a warning from the 112 regional emergency service, as well as agents of the Civil Guard.
To assist the victim, the Cartagena Fire Brigade displaced a crew composed of Heavy Urban Bomb, Polisocorro Vehicle with 2 drivers, 5 Firemen and a Corporal.
