The final year students of the degree in Energy Resources and Energy Engineering of the UPCT will receive free training on the free exercise of the profession.
The Official College of Technical Engineers and Degrees in Mines and Energy of the East-South will train them the next four-month period in aspects such as civil or criminal liability, relationships with clients or professional deontology.
Students will receive three credits of free configuration.
The Dean-President of the College, Virgilio Bermejo, said that this training will be carried out through an agreement with the UPCT, which also provides for other ongoing training actions.
Antonio Vigueras, director of the School of Roads and Mines, highlights the strategic importance of this type of training.
"An important objective is for our engineers to complete their well-prepared Mining studies and thus be able to respond to the current needs of companies and society."
Bermejo highlighted the collaboration with the School during the last years.
The professionals trained at the School of Mines, a centennial center, develop their work in various sectors and economic activities.
The sectors of the region that demand more Mining engineers are linked to the exploitation of mining resources, energy issues, prefabricated construction, asphalt plants, cement plants, prospecting and exploitation of water resources and topography, among others.
