The deputy speaker of the MC Cartagena municipal group, Isabel García, has appraised the latest advances regarding municipal policy whose impulse is due to the initiative of Cartagena's training.
In this regard, he assured that "as usual, since MC we have to do the duties of the Government of Castejón, installed since their betrayal in inaction and incompetence."
In this way, he recalled that "the year 2018 was closed with the approval, at the Governing Board on December 14, of the collaboration agreement of the City of Cartagena with the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Cartagena and the Chamber Orchestra of Cartagena , thus giving effect to the amendment presented by MC to the 2018 budget to support both entities, keys in the cultural life of the municipality and which we strongly support from our Government responsibilities ".
"Also on the 28th the Socialist Government approved the granting of subsidies for the promotion and revitalization of the local commerce of the municipality, to which they have allocated 40,000 euros of our amendment for the elaboration of the Plan for the Promotion of local commerce. However, regarding what depends on the Socialists we find the most absolute vacuum, because we know nothing of the fate of the remaining 80,000 euros of the amendment because the Plan is not, nor is it expected, and with that we lose a new opportunity to recover the employment and companies lost in recent years, and respond to one of the historical demands of traders. "
Also, the mayor of Cartagena has shown how "in the last days of the year, the Governing Board gave its approval to the expansion of a new line of action of the Department of Municipal Infrastructures of the City Council and the UPCT for the realization of the feasibility study of the taxi sector in Cartagena, thus giving effect to another of our amendments, and which gives continuity to our line of support to the sector ".
Likewise, "the municipal ordinance project regulating the urban public passenger transport service by taxi vehicles in the municipality of Cartagena has been approved, prior to its submission to a plenary agreement." This is a management that MC carried out before His exit from the government, although we do not know if the content corresponds exactly with the work we do, since the PSOE has acted, as is tradition, with its backs to both the collective sector and the municipal groups.
However, the councilor of MC has reported that "thirteen days after the opening of the Corvera International Airport, the taxi drivers of Cartagena and Comarca know that, despite the work and the demand for our training, they will not be able to work on this new infrastructure. of regional vocation while everyone, except for us, is silent, the rest of the parties already know that they are more worried about going out in the inauguration photo than in the future of our taxi drivers ".
