The Symphony Orchestra of Cartagena and the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Cartagena have joined together for the first time to offer a Christmas Concert in which more than eighty musicians have been placed on the stage of the El Batel auditorium.
It took place last Sunday, December 30.
The event was attended by the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez, and the Councilor for Transparency, Mercedes García.
The program of the event began with the interpretation of Joaquín Turina's Sevillana Symphony.
The first part of the concert continued with Danza Bacanal de Sansón y Dalila, by Camille Saint - Saëns.
The second act of the concert was opened with The Nutcracker Suite No. 1 by Tchaikovsky.
The Christmas Concert 2018 was closed with Bolero, by Maurice Ravel.
The musical event was directed by Leonardo Martínez Cayuelas and Álvaro Pintado Hernández.
