The City of Cartagena has signed this Friday, December 28, two agreements, the first of them with the Youth Symphony Orchestra and another Symphony Orchestra of Cartagena, in order to promote classical music throughout the year.
The councilman of Culture, David Martinez, has proceeded to the signing of both agreements that were approved by the Government, being the amount of 15,000 euros for the Youth Symphony Orchestra and another 50,000 euros for the Symphony Orchestra of Cartagena,
The mayor has noted that "one of the objectives of the Government Team has been to lay the foundations for a city in which access to culture is a priority."
Both orchestras will join in a Christmas Concert next Sunday, December 30, at 8:00 pm in the Municipal Auditorium of 'El Batel'.
The show will gather around 80 musicians, under the baton of its titular directors, Leonardo Martínez and Álvaro Pintado.
The price of the tickets for the Christmas Concert is 8 euros and can be purchased at the El Batel Auditorium box office or on its 'El Batel' website.
