Iberdrola can now bury the power line that prevented the construction of the school of La Aljorra, once the City Council has paid the 120,999.75 euros needed to execute these works.
The high voltage power line currently crosses the site for the construction of the new school.
The supplier company has confirmed to the local government that the works will start immediately and will consist in the dismantling of the medium and high voltage line that crosses the plot;
the installation of an underground voltage line of 538 meters;
the installation of 42 meters of high voltage overhead line and 3 supports in it, as reported by the Councilor of the Public Services Area, Juan Pedro Torralba.
Once this work has been carried out, the Town Hall will proceed to the second phase of adaptation of the plot, which will be included in the 2019 budget.
The government team expects that in the same way that the City is strictly fulfilling its obligations, the regional government should do the same by bidding both the project of the new school and the work to respond to a fair vindication of the neighbors.
