This Friday, December 28, the Department of Heritage of the City of Cartagena opens the call for tenders for the concession for the reform and exploitation of the underground parking Santa Florentina municipal market.
The deadline to submit the projects will be 20 calendar days, ending that period on January 16, 2019, at 1:00 p.m.
Interested companies must submit a project for the rehabilitation and adaptation of the Santa Florentina market simisótano, for car parking vehicles and motorcycles, for the subsequent exploitation of it.
The new parking tender will give the future concessionaire a longer period to be able to amortize the renovation works that will be necessary, in particular 15 years.
The starting fee for exploitation will be 15,000 euros per year and three types of hourly rates will be established throughout the day, the modification of which should be agreed with the City Council.
The basis for the tender of the car park is to favor the accessibility of customers and users, considered very convenient for merchants.
Apart from the opening hours of the market, it can be used by neighbors and residents, complementing the lack of parking in the historic center of the city.
