The Delegate Committee of the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation approved in its last meeting the concession of the Trial Spanish Championship 2019 to the Club Bici Cartagena Trial, which will be held in the municipality on June 22 and 23.
Cartagena, which during 2018 hosted the celebration of one of the trials of the Spanish Trial Cup, will be the national stage of the modality in the new training circuit of the Club Bici Cartagena Trial in the Industrial Area of ​​Los Camachos.
Also, the Palacio de Deportes hosted on December 1 the final phase of the Iberdrola Club League of Rhythmic Gymnastics and will host the friendly match that will face the women's national team of Spain against Belgium on January 17, a match that will be televised nationally.
During the last year, with the start-up of the Sports Palace and the works in the Cartagonova, Cartagena is consolidating itself as a center of reference for the national sport.
In fact, the Sports Palace will also host in April a friendly match between the Spanish national football team and Guatemala.
