The Plaza San Francisco has hosted this Thursday, December 27, the theatrical work PescaTea, which deals with artisanal fishing and marine reserves.
The activity, promoted and financed by the Department of Economic Strategy, Animal Health and Welfare, has been aimed at the family audience;
and in a fun way, even the smallest of the house have been able to know the ecological values ​​of the Marine Reserves of Fishing Interest of Cabo Palos-Hormigas Islands and Cabo Tiñoso.
In the performances, some artisanal fishing gear such as the trammel, the nasa or the cadufo have been taught and the profession of artisanal fishermen has been valued.
Likewise, the aim was to make participants aware of the importance of participating actively in the conservation of marine protected areas and of making a responsible purchase of fish.
The theater has been created by the Teatro de la Entrega company and the Columbares Association has participated in the organization of the activity.
