The Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena (RCRC) hosted last Friday, December 21, the presentation of a new rowing boat, provided by the Rowing Federation of the Region of Murcia (FRRM).

For this they appeared the councilman of the City council of Cartagena, Manuel Mora, accompanied by technicians of the Department of Sports and representatives of the Federation and the Club.

Built by the prestigious Rubenetti Coastal Rowing shipyard, the new Llaüt-type rowing boat of the Mediterranean (8 rowers of fixed bench and helmsman) represents an important commitment to a sports discipline of great tradition in Cartagena, which is registering an enormous growth in the RCRC .

Promoted by the Federation and in collaboration with the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena, the Club de Regatas Cartagena joins an ambitious project to organize a calendar of competitions during 2019, participating in regional and national events.

The new llaüt is a great step forward to achieve these objectives, since its construction entirely in carbon fiber makes it a very competitive vessel due to its lightness and advanced design.
