Citizens request explanations to the Government of Cartagena for all work related to the Cueva Victoria paleontological site of international importance, "despite the PSOE announcements, the project of actions to improve the security of access, one of the selected projects in the participatory budgets, will not be launched this year, and we want to know what has happened, "said the spokesman of Cs Cartagena, Manuel Padin, who added that" we do not know anything about the Master Plan that supposedly should be prepared for late of this year and for which 20,000 euros have been consigned ".
Cs has already sent an information request to the Government of Cartagena and has informed that if it does not receive a response within a reasonable time, it will take the matter to the regular plenary session in January.
The Local Government Board approved in mid-October a detailed plan of actions, with a deadline of one and a half months, so that the entries are insured and adequate and allow hosting relatively large groups of visitors, on a regular basis.
The project was around 100,000 euros and to finance 90 percent of its execution, the Government announced that it would be submitted to grants sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture for research and intervention of Archaeological and Paleontological Heritage.
