The reading committees of the Intercultural Centers for Youth of the Immigration Unit, in the area of ​​Social Services, held on Tuesday, December 18, the first of the meetings with authors of the Mandarache Program with the writer Gisela Pou.
The Mandarache Program aims to promote reading and belongs to the Department of Youth, within its Hache category.
The centers received the visit of the writer Gisela Pou, author of the book "La joven de medianoche".
Gisela Pou answered all the questions asked by the 30 young participants, regarding her book, as well as her professional career.
They highlighted issues such as values ​​in adolescence, wars and how they affect the population that suffers, the future prospects of young people and the history of Berlin, among others.
The meeting ended with the delivery to the writer of a handmade case with the cover of the book, family photo and signature of autographs.
In the second quarter meetings with author continue.
