The Cartagena Piensa program, developed by the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, has as last guest of the season Luis González Reyes, studious of the relationship between our energy model and the proposals to move to other more sustainable models, which presents this Thursday December 20, his book, co-authored with Ramón Fernández Durán, 'En la espiral de la energía' (2nd edition revised and expanded).
The event will take place at the Josefina Soria Library of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, at 8:00 p.m.
The second edition of 'En la espiral de la energía' is a complete review of the first, with updated data, graphs and new tables, and clearer arguments after the multiple discussion forums that have been generated around the first edition.
They analyze ways of living, economies, political systems, types of work, demography, social struggles, technologies, value systems, ways of relating to the environment, etc., showing how they have interacted throughout history and studying what is going on to be your future evolution.
The book is an invitation to collective dialogue to elaborate the strategies and necessary emancipatory initiatives.
Luis González Reyes is a doctor in chemical sciences and a member of Eco / logistas en Acción.
Participates in its Confederal Secretariat since its foundation, and was co-coordinator of the organization for nine years.
It is currently part of Garúa S. Coop.
Mad., Where he is dedicated to training and research on issues related to environmentalism and pedagogy.
From these areas he is a regular collaborator in several Universities.
He is responsible for the transversal development of ecosocial competences in the three FUHEM schools.
He is the author or co-author of a dozen books.
