The Youth Council of the City of Cartagena, through the Informajoven, launches again the Youth Correspondents Program in Teaching Centers for the 2018-2019 academic year.
The program of Youth Correspondents calls for a total of 19 grants to which students enrolled in the Public Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Polytechnic University of Cartagena can choose.
The scholarships are endowed with an amount of 300 euros per Educational Center.
After the deadline for submission of applications, a total of 34 students have been selected who, individually or as a team, will be in charge of providing their classmates with information on calls and resources that may be of interest to them.
The Correspondents manage in their Centers an Informative Panel and dedicate two recesses per week to inform their partners of activities, events or services of youth interest that are provided by Informajoven, as well as the necessary support to adequately perform this task.
The Corresponsales program has the collaboration of Milena, European volunteer of the Erasmus + program, funded by the European Commission.
Last Saturday, December 15, took place his first Training Session to learn about the facilities and Services of the Youth Council as well as the rest of colleagues, establishing coordination mechanisms with Informajoven technicians, responsible for this program .
