MC's commitment to the Amphitheater

It should be recalled that a motion, approved by the City of Cartagena in October of this year at the request of MC, urged the regional and state governments to include in their budgets for 2019 a significant item to continue the work of consolidating walls and Archaeological excavation of the Roman Amphitheater.

Also, thanks to the work carried out by MC Cartagena during the Cartagena government, the Amphitheater will opt for the call for the '1.5% Cultural' program of the Ministry of Development.

In the same way, the management of MC is responsible for the project to consolidate the double wall of the Plaza de los Toros, which allows the recovery, as an initial action, of 18 meters of the interior space of the double wall.

To these initiatives the aforementioned amendment contributed by MC to the municipal budgets of 2018 has been added for the adaptation of the surroundings of the Amphitheater.
