The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, the president of the Council of Students of the UPCT, Pedro Manuel Toledo and the professor of the Superior Technical School of Architecture and Building Engineering, María Jesús Peñalver have taken office as members, the first two and as general secretary of the Social Council.

The mayor thus replaces his predecessor, former mayor José López, while the UPCT student replaces former president of the Student Council Francisco Joaquín Giménez.

On the other hand, María Jesús Peñalver occupies the vacancy that Gregorio García left at her request.
