The documentary "Azagra, the secret of life" will be screened next Tuesday, December 18, at 7:30 p.m., at the Mandarache cinema in Cartagena.
Tickets for this feature film about the life of the former Bishop of the Diocese can be purchased at the Diocesan Library of the port city, at the UCAM Campus in Los Dolores, as well as in several parishes of the municipality: San Antonio María Claret, Santa María de Gracia, San Juan Bautista, San José Obrero and Nuestra Señora de los Dolores.
The cost is six euros, of which one of them goes to Cáritas.
"Azagra, the secret of life"
The documentary "Azagra, the secret of life" narrates, during 74 minutes, the life of Javier Azagra, priest and bishop, native of Navarre.
A man whom, his desire to evangelize, brought together different cities and people, going from rural pastoral to the position of head of the Youth Pastoral in the Episcopal Conference.
Several historical events, such as the Second Vatican Council or the arrival of democracy, marked the society of the time in which he lived, and his lifestyle.
Bishop Javier Azagra Labiano was eight years auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, 20 years holder of the same and 16 emeritus, until his death on November 16, 2014.
The cinema Rex of Murcia was filled in the preview of this documentary, which took place on November 29.
