Cs reminds the PSOE that it has publicly acquired commitments related to tax ordinances such as the 30 percent reduction in the issuance of building permits for the rehabilitation of buildings in depressed areas of the municipality or the promise to the COEC and Hostecar to review the tax system that affects it to make it more favorable for traditional trade
Cartagena, Thursday, December 13.
The spokesman for Citizens in Cartagena, Manuel Padín, today criticized the huge delay in approving the file of tax ordinances, rates and public prices for the year 2019, which may no longer enter into force on January 1 due to having to comply with the regulated periods of initial approval, public exposure, allegations, negotiation with the rest of the political groups and call for a plenary session.
"If the idea of this socialist government as an absolute minority has been to take the unilateral decision to extend the tax ordinances that say so already and to tell us how long we will have to wait to improve our tax regime, when will they give us the draft that apparently Since November, it has been done, why it has not been taken to the Governing Board, "insisted Manuel Padín, who maintains that" at this stage we are going (with luck) to March 2019 without the revision when the vast majority of Spanish town halls have already been approved since October. "
Cs asks the PSOE government not to wait any longer and start a process to analyze the different proposals, with the political formations and the sectors most affected in each case, to reactivate our economic muscle and relieve the pockets of many people in Cartagena. "
"The tax ordinances are just one example of the innumerable issues paralyzed by the lack of work and seriousness of this government team", recriminates Manuel Padín
Citizens reminds the socialist mayor that has publicly acquired commitments related to tax ordinances such as the 30 percent reduction in the issuance of building permits for the rehabilitation of buildings in depressed areas of the municipality or the promise to the Confederation of Business Organizations of Cartagena and Comarca (COEC) and Hostecar to review the tax regime that affects it to be more favorable for traditional commerce.
On the other hand, the spokesperson of Cs has advanced that his group has already prepared a long time ago a battery of measures that "we want to incorporate into our tax and fiscal system, we have been prudent and our objective has been to reconcile the economic situation of our town hall, the necessary financial equilibrium to keep the public services in condition and reward families from Cartagena for their efforts during so many years of crisis ".
The orange training does not understand how it is possible for the PSOE to announce publicly that the negotiation of the municipal budgets of 2019 will begin before the end of the year without first submitting to the political groups the draft of the tax ordinances, "an essential document to prepare and calculate the income chapter in the new accounts ", says the orange spokesman who adds that" with this delay, our hopes that the budgets of 2019 enter at the beginning of the year are lost every day that passes ".
"We are very afraid that the year will end without starting the process to move forward the accounts and tax ordinances, this is not what is expected of serious and committed leaders with the citizens of Cartagena," laments the spokesman of Cs.
