The exhibition Eunoia La Cara B Brushstrokes for a Future Retrospective Exhibition, by the artist Javier Lorente arrives next Thursday, December 13, at the Town Hall, where its inauguration will take place at 8:00 p.m.
The event will be attended by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, as well as the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez Noguera.
The exhibition will be available from Thursday, December 13, until February 22.
The schedule is from Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 1:30 pm and from 5 pm to 7 pm, Saturdays from 10 am to 1:30 pm and from 5 pm to 8 pm and Sundays from 10 am to 1:30 pm.
On Mondays it will be closed to the public, except for cruises.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR, JAVIER LORENTE
Since his childhood, which began in the Monastery of San Ginés de la Jara, Javier Lorente has defined himself as a lover of natural painting, accumulating a wide range of dozens of exhibitions he has done throughout Spain, Italy or other countries. Eastern Europe, being deserving of more than a hundred of prizes and distinctions at national level.
Based in Pozo Estrecho, Javier Lorente combines his pictorial work with photography and with teaching at his ARTEMISIA Academy.
The author has been able to defend and spread the rural area like nobody else, capturing the beautiful landscapes of our countryside and our coasts over time.
The same has done with our Heritage and our people, plasmándolos in his canvases with great success and reflecting the soul in each image.
An artist rooted in his land but always a traveler, capturing other peoples, other landscapes and other worlds.
Through his works he is capable of exalting the human figure, or of making us lose our gaze on the horizon of an urban landscape or in the proximity of an everyday abstraction, always unnoticed by the majority.
The magic of his images arises from the use of color, that magnificent form in which he mixes, without any fear, the wide range of his palette.

Face B ', which invites us to immerse ourselves in the author's thoughts and positive attitude through works that are found here, in this kind of retrospective that marks some of the different periods of his career.
Javier Lorente collects in this exhibition some of his small or "minor" pieces, works that make up the b-side of an LP, but here, together, they grow and make us dream of that future future anthology of his winning or acquired works .
