A hundred of festeros attended the dinner and presentation of the book 'Know the foundation of your troop', which took place on Saturday night, December 1, in the Hall of celebrations of the Hotel Alfonso XIII of our city.
The beloved evening was organized by the Carthaginian Council, and among others José María Marín (first Fiesta president) and Tomás Martínez Pagán (Aníbal character from the year 1991 and 1992) intervened.
Both contributed funny anecdotes of the first years, unknown by the majority of attendees.
Lola Pérez, Suffete of the Carthaginian Council, presented David Alonso, author of the book, who for 15 minutes threw out his content, which answers essential questions unknown to most festeros about the founding of each troop: Who ?, How? , Where ?, When ?, Why? ... Elaborated from the sources, experiences and founding testimonies, wardrobe sketches, camping plans, photographs and other documents that deal with the first year of life of each troop, and in which the more than 150 members who participated in the first year of each group are listed and are still part of the festive group.
Night for the reunion with festeros who are no longer active, and the memory of some who are no longer among us.
No doubt a new excellent work by David Alonso, who is also author of the book that was already presented by the Roman Senate.
