The area of ​​Youth, of the City of Cartagena, has published the bases to be presented to the Extraordinary Youth Award, which aims to recognize the figure of those young people of the municipality who have excelled throughout 2018 in different fields, demonstrating a talent initiative that distinguishes them in subjects such as sports, research, social cooperation, commitment, the environment, the arts, etc.
Any young person between 14 and 30 years born or resident in Cartagena, who has done his work in the year prior to the call or who demonstrates a long career in his category, will be eligible for the Extraordinary Prize.
The deadline for submission of applications is twenty business days from the publication of the call on the municipal website.
They may submit nominations for the Prize:
The City Council of Cartagena.
Entities, associations or educational centers duly recognized.
A group of citizens who support the presentation of a candidacy.
The presentation of the same can be done directly in the Department of Youth, located in Paseo Alfonso XIII, No. 51, CP 30203 of Cartagena, in working days, from 08:30 to 14:00 hours, or by certified mail.
Candidacies submitted through the Post Offices will be made in an open envelope, so that the name of the Office and the filing date are clearly stated in the header of the printed bulletin.

The received proposals will be published, once the deadline, on the website juventud.cartagena.es
The Jury, chaired by the Councilor for Youth of the City of Cartagena, David Martínez, will select three finalists and, among these, the Jury will select the winner.
The jury's decision will be final and will have a financial prize of 1,000 euros.
