The Local Police of Cartagena has carried out a campaign of road safety, with the General Directorate of Traffic, whose objective is the reduction of accidents on the roads.
The controls have been made in different parts of the city to check the speed, alcohol, safety belt use, use of the mobile phone and checking the technical conditions of the vehicles.
The main objective of the campaign is to avoid fatal accidents that occur in vehicles used for the transport of goods and distribution.
During this campaign, Local Police officers have carried out inspections on vehicles, in authorizations and documents, technical conditions, and security elements;
and about drivers, driving licenses, driving and rest times, alcohol and drugs, etc.
