The second edition of the 'Memorial Rosendo Carrión' was held on Thursday, December 6, at the San Juan Bosco football field.
The City of Cartagena supports this championship in memory of the soccer player-8, who died in 2016.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, and the Councilor for Sports, Manuel Mora, who were accompanying the family, friends and colleagues of Rosendo Carrión, attended the events prior to the tournament.
The memorial matches began at 10:30 am.
Rosendo Carrión García died, aged 45, on December 6, 2016, after suffering a faint in a triangular football-8 veterans, who disputed with the AD Trinidad in the San Juan Bosco field.
Last Thursday, December 6, two years of his loss were completed and the championship he played goes to bear his name as a permanent reminder of his person.
