In 2016, the municipal group Ctssp contacted neighbors who live near the Torres Park, who transferred the painful situation in which the area was located.

Broken handrails, lack of fences, holes without protection, danger of falls from different heights, animal abuse, abandonment of Municipal Surveillance, bottles, graffiti, unhygienic due to lack of cleanliness, dog feces, lampposts and broken benches, breach of rules of the UNE in playgrounds, trees with danger of falling due to their decline, danger of detachment of aggregates and stones, or species of plants cataloged as invasive, show the current state of the park.
The same as 3 years ago, but even more deteriorated.
The surroundings and accesses have also been degraded, and as La Verdad writes these days in a story: this area, which used to be an emblematic place of the municipality, "is now in complete ruin".
There is only one house that barely remains of the dozens.
