The Neighborhood Association of the Barriada Virgen de la Caridad has developed, with the collaboration of the City of Cartagena, through the area of ​​Social Services, a special program of activities, which take place from December 2 to January 5, on the occasion of of the Christmas holiday.

Last Sunday, December 2, the Solidarity Food Collection Campaign was carried out by the Rebels group in El Bohío, while the Gran Belén Monumental was inaugurated by the Salgueiro Carnival Troupe.

The Christmas decoration will arrive at the Local Social on Monday, December 17, while on Thursday, December 20, the Christmas Concert will be developed by the Orchestra Pulso and Púa City of Cartagena in the Parish of San Leandro.

The turn of the youngest will arrive on Friday, December 21, with a Great Children's Day at the Plaza Cronista Casal, in which there will be a visit of the Disney characters, intercultural games, Christmas music, a visit from Santa Claus and delivery of candies at 6:30 p.m. at the Plaza Cronista Casal.

On Saturday, December 22, there will be a Christmas Sports Encounter and the delivery of food by Comparsa Salgueiro to ACCEM and Cáritas San Leandro.

For its part, Rebels Local Headquarters of Cartagena will deliver food to ACCEM and Cáritas San Leandro.

On Thursday, December 27, the jury will visit those registered in the Facades and Nativity Scenes Competition from 7:00 p.m.

Those interested can register from December 2 to 21 at 6 pm at the Local Social.

The turn of the Great Parade and Christmas Parade through the neighborhood will arrive on January 4, from 5 pm at the López Belmonte Sports Facilities, after which it will proceed to the collection of letters and distribution of candies, performances of choreographic groups and the awards ceremony of the winners of the contests in the Local Social.

Finally, the Barriada Virgen de la Caridad will participate with a comparsa in the Reyes Municipal Parade on January 5.
