The mayor Ana Belén Castejón and the Councilor for Municipal Services, Juan Pedro Torralba, yesterday visited the residents of El Bohío and Santa Ana Polygon to check the status of the works of adaptation of two seats, framed in the Participatory Budgeting project this year.
The first of these is the Plaza Manuel de Falla in El Bohío, where improvements are being made to make it a more accessible space and eliminate architectural barriers, with an investment of 103,037 euros.
In addition, the playground is being extended, placing new and inclusive elements that facilitate its use.
Once the work is finished, the playground will have the shape of a piano keyboard.
In the Parque de Polígono de Santa Ana, which has an area of ​​more than 1,200 meters, has opted for an open children's area, combining its use with leisure terraces and a perimeter walk.
In this way, an inclusive space is being created with games adapted from the point of view of security as well as learning and stimulation.
The budget allocated to this square is 91,484 euros.
Both infrastructures have been very demanded by the neighbors and the completion of the works is expected before the end of the year.
