The economic sector will meet next Wednesday, December 5, at the 16th Conference for Business Leaders of the Region of Cartagena, considered the most relevant and influential event of the socioeconomic sector of the area and organized by COEC, will take place in the Auditorium and Conference Center El Batel.
The session will be opened by the president of the Autonomous Community, Fernando López Miras;
the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón;
and the presidents of the employers of the Region of Murcia (Croem), José María Albarracín, and Cartagena (COEC), Pedro Pablo Hernández.
The first session will serve to publicize the latest economic analysis of the Region of Cartagena, conducted by the Department of Economics of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPC), and will be presented by its director, Rosa Badillo Amador.
The study is structured by sectors, so that the most significant data of each of them are collected and detailed.
Thus, UPCT researchers responsible for analyzing each economic sector will present their conclusions through their corresponding papers, being the first Antonio García Sánchez, who will highlight the situation of tourism in the region of Cartagena.
Next, Andrés Artal Tur (Commerce), Juan Patricio Castro Valdivia (Industry), Francisco Alcón Provencio (Agroalimentary), Juan Jesús Bernal García (Innovation and Technology), and Antonio Duréndez Guillamón (Financing) will intervene.
The act will be closed by the Minister of Transparency, Participation and Spokesperson, Noelia Arroyo.
