The Municipal Corporation will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the approval in referendum of the Spanish Constitution of 1978, with an extraordinary plenary session that will take place on December 5 at the Town Hall.
The session will begin at 11 am, with the intervention of the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, which as an institutional statement will take stock of what this charter has meant, with special emphasis on the democratic development of the municipalities.
Next, the spokespersons of the municipal groups from least to most representative will speak, ending the session with the Mayor.
For the occasion has been invited as a tribute, to occupy a prominent place among the audience, councilors of the first democratic corporation that led to the Constitution in 1979.
On the other hand, people registered in our municipality who were born on December 6, 1978 and who have been living for years with the Constitution have also been invited.
Finally, to the municipal officials of that time who are still active.
Together with all of them, a commemorative photo is planned at the end of the session.
