The Exchange, which lasted all last week, was organized by the association 'Euronation', formed entirely by young Cartagena
A total of 30 young people from five European countries, including Spain, participated this week in Cartagena in a youth exchange Erasmus + program organized by the association 'Euronation', which has European funding.
During the seven days of the experience, young people from Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Estonia and Spain, shared experiences and developed different activities, thus fulfilling the project objectives: Develop the European dimension of sport, enhance the entrepreneurial spirit of the young people, encouraging them to participate actively in society, and to improve the key skills and abilities of young people.
The General Director of Youth, Francisco Sánchez, who had a meeting with the members of this exchange, pointed out the guarantees that young people are given to participate in the Erasmus + Youth activities, since "they have the opportunity to know other cultures, feel European citizens and share with young people from other countries a unique learning experience in the field of non-formal education, "said Sanchez.
'Euronation' is composed of young people from Cartagena who after participating in different international projects decided to create this association and take the initiative in the development of non-formal education projects for young people.
The objective of the association is to be a platform to expand their horizons and help them in their self-development.
From the regional government "we support initiatives that promote interculturality and offer support to young people so that they can acquire essential skills for their personal and professional development through non-formal education, as well as enhance the role of workers and organizations favoring the mobility and cooperation in the field of youth, "said Francisco Sánchez.
